I am very excited to announce that I will soon launch a small classroom able to accommodate 4 students in Ginowan, Okinawa, Japan. The goal is to offer a very high level of training and hands-on in Cisco, Redhat, Juniper, and Fortinet. The training kit per student will include 3 Cisco routers, 1 Cisco layer 3 switch, 2 Cisco layer 2 switches, 1 Cisco VOIP phone, 1 Fortinet Fortigate firewall, 1 Juniper Netscreen firewall, and a Fedora Desktop that can run virtual computers and routers.
With such a large amount and variety of equipment I hope to provide certification training as well as provide experience in tools that will lead to success on the job. Classes are anticipated to run on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturdays from 12 pm to 4pm. I expect the first class to be a thorough 6 week CCNA course starting in March 3rd, 2015. I will be offering a 25% discount to active duty Military.
